Trying Every Sport in A Lifetime
Who Wants to Join Tracy?

Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham, Founder and President of Women TIES, LLC, who lost all her hair to alopecia in 2018, has come out of the experience realizing she wants to try every sport - regular and hopefully adventure - once in her lifetime. She will be documenting her attempts via social media especially on her TikTok account @tracychigginbotham.

As the year progresses, Tracy will post the sports she is attempting and invites any woman to join her at it. Most will be a one day experience most likely without training.

Out of the 124 "regular" sports, Tracy has done 55 of them with 69 more to try including ones like motorcross, curling, archery, parasailing, surfing, and more.

When it comes to "adventure" sports, there are 39 with Tracy only doing 4 so she has 35 more to go. Some of the "fun" ones include mountain biking, unicycle, kite surfing, bullriding, and more. Any ones who has participated in a adventure sport who wants to take Tracy back out with them, should reach out to her!

Let's make 2024 and onward, an undaunted way of living life through sports especially since we are women and are fearless.

#261Fearless Central New York Meet Runs

The #261 Fearless Club Greater New York where the running community is robust encourages women supporting women to create a positive sense of self-confidence and fearlessness through running. #261 Fearless Club Greater New York wants to be your supportive women's community that guides you along your fitness journey. Become FEARLESS with us!

We are a female-specific running community that focuses on the fun, social, non-competitive side of running. We provide a safe, friendly, and fun environment for women to run together. It's a great way to get fit and make new friends while you're at it. Building a community of support is just as important as getting out and moving.

On Mondays, #261Fearless Meet Runs are in Cazenovia "on the green" from 6:00-6:45 and Tuesdays in Liverpool at Washington Park in the village from 5:30-6:15. Days and times will switch to weekends once daylight savings hits in November.

Here is some information to get you started:

* First 3 meet runs: free
* Drop-in rate: $3/meet run
* One year: $50 (starts their 1st meet run after the 3 free ones)

39th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day® (NGWSD®)

The Women's Athletic Network will be creating and participating in the 39th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day again in 2025. Mark your calendar now for 2/5/25 and join us for something sports-related on this date.

NGWSD is a national day co-founded and powered by the Women's Sports Foundation, supported by its team of champion athletes. Annually, schools and community-serving organizations host over 300 grassroots events across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. with an estimated reach of 200,000 girls and women.
